The sensitivity and strength of V-brake is averagely 180% of canti-brake. Yet the difficulty of reducing speed for end-over-ends cause the sliding occusrs usually. In order to over come such problems we research and develop ABS functional brake shoes.


  1. Two-step brake action, the fist step is reducing speed and momentum, the second step is brake action. Because the momentum has been reduced, the probability of trim-over lower down 47.11%
  2. Improve operational control of brake shoes to attain the effect of reducing speed. According to some research report which use 5 vehicles to test, O times, when the speed of vehicle over 10.5 km/hr and turning angle is 80, the probability of slip for sudden brake is 98%. The chart below illustrate the reason for slip.

For example, we ride a bicycle with a 15km/hr speed, when we are about to turn, we wish to reduce the speed to 5km/hr. Traditional brake shoes will usually stop the wheel totally, yet the remaining momentum will bring the speed back to 5km/hr. The vehicle will slip in the process when the speed reduce to O suddenly (at point O). However, ABS functional brake shoes with two-step action reduce such dangerous situation.


We do CPSC standard test with 5 vehicles and repeat 12 times. Testing condition:loading 68.1kgs, speed 24km/hr. Braking distance less than 4.57m

  1. Traditional brake shoes when reducing speed will lock the type cause the vibration of the rear wheel, safety and stability is worse.
  2. ABS functional brake shoes will reduce the speed and momentum first, and then brake the vehicle, which will cause straight brake, safety is better.
